DescriptionRussian. Foliate dark brown border. Christ Pantocrator is seated on a wide throne with his feet resting on a footstool. In his left hand he holds a book and forms a sign of blessing with his right. Mary and John the baptist, flanking Christ's throne, both hold scrolls with text. Four saints (John the theologian, archangel Michael, archangel Gabriel and Nicholas the miracle worker) stand behind them. The halos are made out of metal and held in place with a screw.
