DescriptionGreek icon. The panel is divided into two registers. The smaller upper register shows Christ enthroned on a small green platform. Mary (left) and John the Baptist (right) stand on either side of him on a pink coloured floor. The lower register shows four standing saints. These figures are much larger than those of the deesis. On the left is a bishop holding a holy book in his covered left hand and forming a blessing with his right. The three saints to his right each wear long colourful robes, have long grey hair and grey forked beards, and carry scrolls in their left hands. Each of these scrolls bears an inscription. The frame has several small holes on the sides made by wire hinges. This suggests this panel was the central part of a triptych.
