DescriptionRussian icon. A large figure of Mary stands on a cloud on the left. She is dressed in dark blue with a dark brown mantle and holds an inscribed scroll in her left hand. LR shows four rows of kneeling saints and metropolitans dressed in vivid colours. Above this a small figure of Christ leans down from the heavens surrounded by bright light. In the background are two churches and a river.There several borders around the work - the most broad one is gold.
