DescriptionFired clay jug with a short cut-away neck and single handle from neck to lower shoulder, and a small flattened base. Deliberately fired unevenly, red at bottom and black near top. Burnished surface decorated with triple incised lines in "V" patterns and three pairs of raised nipples. From Yortan, west-central Turkey, Late Early Bronze Age 1-111a, early to mid 3rd millennium BC.
