DescriptionFired clay hand-formed shallow "cornuto" bowl with high looped handle with two upraised "horns", flaring rim and concave base. Covered with a light beige slip and decorated with brown-painted linear designs on handle and around outer rim, bowl, and base - interior undecorated. Probably from southeastern Italy, of subgeometric Daunian II date, ca. 550-400 BC, as cat. 9.Collections
