DescriptionThe background is black, dark grey with an undertone of brown, and tiny white specks. There is a horizontal layer of white at the top of the painting. In the mid-ground there is a layer of black, with outlines of trees. Then in the foreground near the very bottom of the painting are white smudge. Beginning in the foreground are white depictions of small trees and branches without leaves, growing smaller as they move farther away and up the painting, on the dark gray background. On the lower left side of the painting is one white tree image with white smudging, making it appear to be the only white tree full of leaves.
