DescriptionThis painting depicts the artist's immigration to Canada.
The overall painting displays a scene with cool colours of blue, white and gray. The scene displays two figures on board, on the roof of a large ship out on sea. One figure in the foreground on the right, is in a running position, wearing jeans, a blue shirt and a dark jacket. Then a figure behind him hiding behind a slanted board or door. There is one large (chimney) pipe in the center of the painting, and then smaller funnel pipes on the left and right in the background, a larger one of the left in the background, then another one on the left in the foreground.
