Ruth Lowe-Bookman

Mrs. Ruth Lowe Bookman, sculptor and the wife of Dr. John Bookman, died yesterday at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her age was 52 and she lived at 21 East 87th Street.

A graduate of the George School in Bucks County, Pa., and Barnard College, Mrs. Bookman-Lowe was a member of the National Academy of Design, the Silvermine Artists Guild of New Canaan, Conn., and the Nation al Association of Women Art ists. She was a trustee of the Town School, 540 East 76th Street.
