BiographyA prominent Canadian painter, draftsman and illustrator, Frank Charles Hennessey was born in Ottawa, Ontario where he lived his whole life. He studied at Albion College, Michigan, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1916. Hennessey's works are in several Canadian museums and collections, including the National Gallery of Canada, the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Art Gallery of Alberta, Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Art Gallery of Ontario, Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Museum London, Quebec Museum of Fine Arts, Riverbrink Art Museum, and the Robert McLaughlin Gallery.
